Been a While

Been a bit since I have posted anything, so here is a bit of an update. I now have a twitter account per a requests at work. Who knows how long I can keep that up. I added a section at the top and sidebar for it. http://twitter.com/groundforce_sdr

Had my birthday, 11.06.08. That was pretty good. Had a dinner at Texas Roadhouse one night then went to Master Grill Steakhouse ‘Churrascaria’ one night. Both were great. Didn’t get to spend any of my B-Day money on myself really. Got a damn ticket for not wearing my !@#$ seat belt; which I think is one of the most ridiculous laws ever. I had not even made the block around my house when she got me for this. Wasn’t even kind enough for a warning that close to my house. Anyways enough of that.

Gears of War 2 kick ass. I have been playing that since it came out(got it for b-day). Before that I was playing Fallout 3; which i rented, and Baja: Edge of Control(bought). Those are both really great and intended for extended game play, so i will be getting back to them after i finish GOW2. Cant forget a bout FarCry 2, been playing that through also. It has been kind of confusing following all the stories so I am going to narrow down and finish one off at time.

That is a bout it. Looking forward to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Another Broken XBox 360

Almost a year to the date, I have another XBox 360 breakdown. The 3 red lights strike again. This will now be my 3rd system and second time to loose all of my data. With no XBox live at home I have lost it all, gamerscore, saved games, everything’s gone. I’m no part-time gamer either, that was a lot of freaking time put on this thing and to loose it all because of Microsoft rushing to get their systems out. DAMN, This is getting old.

I don’t understand how so many systems with such bad production or hardware or whatever the cause may be slip through Microsoft’s hands. Just do a Google search, you will find this same kind of problem all over the place. I wonder if there is some kind of count for kept for systems being replaced?

Thank you, Best Buy and their 2 year replacement plan. It has saved me again, money wise anyway. With my last replacement I went ahead and upgraded to the Elite XBox 360. This same package is now $100 cheaper and comes with 2 games; Forza2 and Ultimate Alliance. I guess that is a good thing to come from this.
